In-home piano lessons in Paris
I can travel to a student’s home within Paris when the location fits reasonably into my schedule. The teaching itself is the same as in the studio; the practical advantage is that we can work directly on the instrument you use every day.
When home lessons make sense
This can be particularly useful for families for whom weekly travel is difficult, or for students who want to work on the specific feel and habits connected with their own piano.
Your instrument is part of the lesson
Bench height, distance from the keyboard, pedalling, touch and room acoustics all affect the way you play. A home lesson lets us look at these details under normal practice conditions.
What instrument do you need?
An acoustic piano is ideal, but a good weighted digital piano with a pedal can be perfectly suitable. A light portable keyboard quickly becomes limiting for technical and sound work.
Travel and pricing
Home visits are limited to Paris and depend on the area and available time slots. Any travel supplement is agreed before enrolment. Base lesson prices are listed on the Pricing page.
